EED Study Coach는 회원가입이나 로그인을 요구하지 않습니다. 운영자는 사용자의 이름, 주소, 전화번호 또는 이메일 주소를 프로그램을 통해 직접 수집하거나 별도의 EED 서버에 저장하지 않습니다.
- 사용자 컴퓨터에 저장되는 정보
사용자가 입력하거나 가져온 학습 문장, 프로그램 설정, 학습기록, 생성된 음성파일과 낭독 녹음파일은 사용자의 컴퓨터에 저장됩니다.

프로그램을 제거하더라도 사용자가 만든 학습자료와 녹음파일이 위 폴더에 남아 있을 수 있습니다. 사용자는 해당 폴더를 직접 삭제하여 자료를 제거할 수 있습니다.
- 마이크 사용
마이크는 사용자가 낭독 녹음 기능을 직접 선택한 경우에만 사용됩니다. 녹음파일은 사용자의 컴퓨터에 저장되며 Jim’s Smart Life가 운영하는 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.
- 인터넷 음성 및 번역 서비스
EED Study Coach의 음성 생성 및 번역 기능에는 인터넷 연결이 필요할 수 있습니다.
사용자가 해당 기능을 실행하면 선택한 문장 텍스트가 기능 제공에 필요한 범위에서 Microsoft 또는 Google 계열의 온라인 음성·번역 서비스로 전송될 수 있습니다. 이러한 외부 서비스의 데이터 처리는 각 서비스 제공자의 개인정보 처리방침을 따릅니다.
사용자는 학습 문장에 비밀번호, 신분증 번호, 금융정보, 건강정보 등 민감한 개인정보를 입력하지 않는 것이 좋습니다.
- 개인정보 판매 및 제3자 제공
운영자는 사용자의 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 온라인 음성 및 번역 기능을 제공하는 데 필요한 경우를 제외하고, 사용자의 정보를 임의로 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다.
- 아동의 개인정보

- Personal Information
EED Study Coach does not require registration or login. The operator does not directly collect users’ names, addresses, telephone numbers, or email addresses through the application, and does not store such information on an EED-operated server.
- Information Stored on the User’s Computer
Learning sentences, application settings, study records, generated audio, and read-aloud recordings are stored locally on the user’s computer.

User-created learning data and recordings may remain in this folder after the application is uninstalled. Users can remove this information by deleting the folder manually.
- Microphone Use
The microphone is used only when the user chooses the read-aloud recording feature. Recordings are stored on the user’s computer and are not uploaded to a server operated by Jim’s Smart Life.
- Online Speech and Translation Services
Some speech-generation and translation features require an internet connection.
When a user requests one of these features, the selected sentence text may be transmitted to Microsoft- or Google-provided online speech or translation services as necessary to provide the requested function. Processing by these external services is governed by their respective privacy policies.
Users should not enter passwords, identification numbers, financial information, health information, or other sensitive personal information in learning sentences.
- Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
The operator does not sell users’ personal information. Information is not intentionally shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the online speech and translation features described above.
- Children’s Privacy
EED Study Coach can be used by children and students, but it does not request a child’s name, address, or contact information. Parents and guardians should help children avoid including sensitive personal information in learning sentences or recordings.
- Security and User Responsibility
Learning data and recordings are stored on the user’s computer. When using a shared computer, users should protect their Windows account and device to prevent unauthorized access to locally stored files.
- Changes to This Policy
Changes to this policy will be published on the Jim’s Smart Life website with a new effective date.
